Say hello to Tedi, a sweet, mellow Golden Retriever who recently joined the Operation Freedom Paws family. His journey to us wasn’t easy, but it’s one filled with hope and second chances.

Tedi was rescued from a backyard breeding situation where his future was uncertain. Thankfully, a local rescue stepped in and reached out to our founder, Mary. Without hesitation, we welcomed him into our program, ready to give him the love, care, and purpose every dog deserves.

Now, Tedi is starting a new chapter, one full of learning, structure, and connection. As he settles in, our team will get to know his strengths and personality to determine whether he’ll pursue a future as a service dog or a therapy dog. Either way, he’ll play a meaningful role in helping others heal.

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, dogs like Tedi are given a second chance, and the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.
