DOG WALK HOME: A SPECIAL LOOK AT THE DOCUMENTARY IN PROGRESS

OFP is honored to share a powerful work in progress from documentary filmmakers, Vicki Topaz and Wynn Padula. You’ll see interviews and shared stories from our founder and film consultant, Mary Cortani, and three other veterans whose PTSD left them with little hope. Support comes when these three veterans train alongside rescue dogs and together become service teams. These uniquely trained service dogs learn to detect and ease the symptoms of trauma in their handlers, to bring about change.

DOG WALK HOME tells a story of journey and return and families guided away from the pitfalls of PTSD to a budding sense of hope and finding a “new normal.” Thank you to our clients, Kim, Ramon and Chris, for bravely sharing their stories in service to other veterans trying to find their way home.
